Typographic Posters

For this project, I researched three different time periods and created three different type specimens that fall within the three time periods. Period 1 (1450–1890), Period 2 (1920–1960), Period 3 (1980–1999). The typefaces I chose were Bodoni, Futura, and Arial. I used different color schemes for each poster, but chose to use transparent characters in each poster to keep them cohesive with each other. I also included a sample of the alphabet in each poster to show what makes that typeface unique or different than the others.
